Dog Urine Stains Removal from on Oak Engineered Flooring

    Hi,

I have large patches of urine stains (dog) on engineered wood flooring and would like to see if it can be repaired or replaced, without replacing the whole sitting & dining room area.

I would be grateful for your advice in this, many thanks

      Hi Hellen,

Stains form urine are difficult to remove from timber floors - ideally these should be wiped and cleared immediately, as it is not the liquid but the urine, which is causing the coloration in the wood and it usually penetratres deeper in the wooden surface. So, restoration (floor sanding & refinishing) will not be an option in this case.

Going with the option for local replacement of planks is best approach for the floor repairs, but of course this will require having some spare planks from the same floors. If that's the case, please let us know and we can arrange for a free site visit, to see how we can help with this.
