Before the works...
The Junckers solid beech wood flooring in this Ickenham property was looking tired and in serious need of renovation. During our initial survey, we did a thorough inspection of the wooden floors & discussed with the client all available options, followed by comprehensive quote with our floor restoration & repairs pricing for Junckers solid wood flooring.
Our client has decided to go for floor sanding of 138 sqm beech solid wood flooring and finishing the floors in matt Lacquer.
How we carried out this Junckers beech solid wood flooring restoration...
One of the challenges we faced during this project was to complete the floor works in stages, due to bulky pieces of furniture, which could not be removed from the rooms.
Solid solid wood flooring floors are durable, long-lasting and therefore, we tend to find them in condition, which requires more time & care. Our team will re-inspect the floors for movement and in case it requires any repairs, prior to the floor sanding works.
During the solid Junckers solid beech floor sanding, the entire timber surface is going through a sanding process of levelling with coarser grids, finishing with finer grids, and finally buffing, prior to sealant application & between the coats, for outstanding results.
Our works included approx. 138 sqm of Junckers 2-strip beech solid wood flooring floor restoration and finishing in matt lacquer. The sealing went down with 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of Bona Traffic lacquer.
Overall, this floor renovation project in Ickenham was completed as planned and to the satisfaction of the client.
