Before the works...
The Junckers solid beech wood flooring in this Aylesbury property was looking tired and in serious need of refinishing. During our free site survey, we did a thorough inspection of the wooden floors & discussed with the client all available choices, followed by detailed quote with our floor sanding & repairs prices for solid wood flooring.
Our client has decided to go for floor sanding of 74 sqm beech solid wood flooring and finishing the floors in matt Lacquer.
How we carried out this beech solid wood flooring restoration...
One of the challenges we faced during this project was to complete the floor works in stages, due to larger pieces of furniture, which could not be removed from the rooms.
Solid solid wood flooring floors are durable, long-lasting and therefore, we often find them in condition, which requires more work & preparation. Our team will re-inspect the floors for movement and in case it requires any repairs, prior to the renovation works.
During the Junckers solid beech floor sanding, the entire timber surface is going through a process of levelling with coarser grids, finishing with finer grids, and finally buffing, prior to sealing & between the coats, for excellent results.
Our works included approx. 74 sqm beech solid wood flooring floor renovation and finishing in matt lacquer. The sealing went down with 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of Bona Mega lacquer.
Overall, this floor restoration project in Aylesbury was completed as planned and to the satisfaction of the client.
