Before the works...
The oak engineered wood flooring in this Central London property was looking tired and in desperate need of restoration. During our free site survey, we did a thorough inspection of the floors & discussed with the client all possible options, followed by detailed quote with our floor sanding & repairs pricing for engineered wood flooring.
Our client has decided to go for floor repairs and floor sanding of 30 sqm oak engineered wood flooring and finishing the floors in matt Lacquer.
How we carried out this oak engineered wood flooring renovation...
Engineered wood flooring comes with different thickness of the top layer. During the site survey, we have checked the remaining thickness however, our team will double check again, there is enough thickness before starting the floor renovation works.
During the oak engineered floor renovation, the entire area is going through a process of levelling with coarser grids, finishing with finer grids, and finally buffing, prior to sealant application & between the coats, for outstanding results.
Our works included approx. 30 sqm oak engineered wood flooring floor sanding and finishing in matt lacquer. The sealing went down with 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of Bona Traffic lacquer.
