During our obligation-free survey, we did a thorough inspection of the wooden floors & discussed with the client all available options, followed by detailed quote with our floor sanding & repairs pricing for engineered wood flooring.
Our client has decided to go for floor sanding of 25 sqm oak engineered wood flooring and finishing the floors in matt Lacquer.
How we carried out this oak engineered wood flooring renovation...
One of the challenges we faced during the floor works was to complete the floor works in stages, due to bulky pieces of furniture, which could not be removed from the rooms.
Engineered wood flooring comes with different depth of the top layer. During the initial site visit, we have confirmed the remaining thickness however, our team will verify again, there is sufficient depth before starting the floor sanding works.
During the oak engineered wood floor sanding, the entire area is going through a process of levelling with coarser grids, finishing with finer grids, and finally buffing, prior to sealing & between the coats, for perfect results.
Our works included approx. 25 sqm oak engineered wood flooring floor sanding and finishing in matt lacquer. The sealing went down with 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of Bona Traffic lacquer.
Overall, this floor renovation project in Bromley was completed as originally planned and to the satisfaction of the client.
